I think you can - I don't remember anything in the contract that prohibits it. I know some junior lineholders drop their entire month of crappy trips, gambling on being able to pick up better stuff.

we'd still have to send Delta pilots' dues money to national. and national would still advocate for regional pilot groups who are trying to take our flying and ruin our careers. a conflict of interest--along with sundry other policies harmful to Delta pilots' careers.

we cannot fix this simply by recalling reps. ALPA is rotten to the core.

I believe you have a fundamental misunderstanding of regional pilot groups.

Retired Delta pilot: No pensions, no bonuses | ajc.com

The retired pilot who filed the shareholder proposal Jan. 9, Kenneth Wendell Lewis, noted that he is a shareholder and proposed that the board prohibit cash or stock bonus payments to management or executive officers unless there is a process to fund retirement accounts for pilots who retired before Dec. 13, 2007.

Maybe I'm being a bit of a self-entitled greedy junior newbie, and if I am...I apologize, but after the company re-funds the retirement account of guys who retired 5+ years ago, then takes their bonuses, I wonder how much money will be left to us "runts" currently working the line.

I don't see this proposal having any real teeth, but could be wrong.

Funny how the Delta ads always feature DTW and the whale....

My guess is that it's because of all the photogenic extras they can find.

And the water feature. Everyone loves the water feature.

Its the best terminal we have. Hands down. Only negative is the food is at the ends of the concourse, but other than that, the place is awesome.

Nu,

Just in case no one noticed. NWA was re branded as Delta. "Delta" in the traditional sense, has about as much to do with managing Delta as Pan Am - Grace. Our management, our network strategy ... .

By the way, aren't ad valorem taxes cheaper in Georgia? What is taking all these Minnesotans so long to register their cars? When you see the GO parking lot, you expect there to be a Zamboni parked inside the building on the first floor.
