Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?
I sat reserve for two years starting in 2007. I broke guarantee once and that was 72 hours. Quite a few on the 88 this past winter did not fly for 2 months on reserve
I have flown reserve on and off for the last 12 years and never even got close to 70 hours in any category I flew in the following bases DFW, LAX, SLC, MCO, unpaid vacation
, ATL ,SLC, LAX, but mostly LAX. The ATL narrow-body guys probably have a different experience

I break guarantee the hard way (meaning working for it...no green slips) on rsv about once a year on average.
...and no, I don't hold any ALPA positions and I'm a comfirmed 'NO' voter on most of the MEMRATs in my career, but on this one sliver of info I've seen released, I see a number of people jumping on an immediate doom and gloom appocalyptic view that's not based on reality.

MSP 320 B. Got used like crazy last month. They burn through reserves like nobody's business. I've been in CVG, NYC, & SLC, but have broken guarantee the most in MSP on both the -ER and the 320.

I typically got hammered on reserve on the 320 in DTW. Was DH'd all over the system. It wasn't uncommon to have a trip that had more DH legs then flying legs. They tore through reserves while I was on that category. Glad to hear that at least you're getting used while at work. That's the way you want it if you can't sit LC @ home.
something I haven't heard anyone consider is the new rest rules. Is it even possible for a reserve guy to get ALV+15 with an extra day off per month with the new rest rules in effect?
Read what Check E said - that you responded to. You are talking past each other, but as I read it, Check is more on target.

I get the L&G tool of the day award for a huge picture... and I don't care.
I believe the sticker is missing because that is a super duper premium widebody. As evidenced in JFK a while ago, those things are pretty adept CRJ900 hunters as well.

This is our union's fault. They should have walked in and sent the message at the beginning of negotiations that we have given billions over the last ten years, and now is the time for the company to give us back what we have given with nothing in return. Everything I have seen is pretty much cost neutral or even favored to the company. These are small items. Not one large item like scope, pay, minimum day, or vacation has been closed out. If the small items are all give-and-take, what makes you think the large items will be any different? It seems we're going for a contract worth significantly less than my expectations while giving up more outsourced 76 seaters in the process. We need to follow our gut feelings here. This new contract is not looking good, but Delta has never voted down a TA. It's almost like DALPA is just trying to get a TA that will barely pass. I'm amazed at how many pilots on here can just turn a blind eye and pretend that everything is going great.
