You got a bet? I'll see your bet. In fact, lets get one of the attorneys on this board to hold it in escrow as a derivative trade against a suck deal. I'll open at $1,000 ... payable on ls whether management tells investors it is cost neutral, or increases efficiency.

You can't factually defend the MEC's talking points.

You just made a caviet. I do not care how they spin their math or what they tell the investors, I care about the costing of the agreement that we have today versus the day the agreement is signed.

On top of that my attorney and financial planner do not allow me to bet on anything :D

As it stands now it's apparent pilots want pay and are willing to be more efficient to get it. That said the work rule changes will not pay for the raises in whole. If that is what is taed if will not pass the MEC.

We are making money and projected to make a lot more.

I am not going to listen to the talking points, I and a few others are going to cost the deal out.

DISAGREE - I have 10 years left and I care about Scope because if the airline doesn't grow (at the bottom, at the middle and at the top) then I will be stuck where I am (737 F/O) until the day I retire. Scope will at least give me a chance to move up.

Motojoe,

Nice pic. Are you still a Captain at United?

I'm not asking you to respond to a rumor, I'm asking you to respond to a hypothetical...my hypothetical. My hypothetical is that a TA arrives soon that is ratified by our MEC and has substantial gains in all areas, but allows more 76 seat jets to be flown by non-Delta pilots, would you vote YES to that hypothetical TA or NO? Can I take it that your answer to that is you would vote NO?

I will also vote NO if top and middle end scope is not fixed. I want to see a path to performing all Dal flying. If that is there, I will vote yes, if not I cannot vote in favor of an agreement with 100% pay raises. Money does not matter is we leak leverage out of flying all over the list.

I'm very glad to hear that.

if you don't care, then I bet you don't care to hang out here in the first place. its not the alpa boards, its still based on rumors, there are junior guys here, there are regional guys here, there are junior guys who used to be regional guys here and the porn is tempered.

those who don't care, just want my raise types, are probably not here to begin with. and frankly, doubt they're even on the internet. it's just a fad.

Everybodt needs to sit back and take a deep breath. We have not seen anything yet that is final. I want to wait and see the TA, then we can look at it in its entirety.

Same answer still applies because the hypothetical is based in rumor.

I will also point out that Dal says that they want to park 50's but they aren't. Move half the block hrs here and cap it, that is going to be a win to the majority of this group. Make it so that it can't be force majured and that is probably enough to get most the scope hawks to sign on to it. That's the reality.

Hey Carl,

Just to be clear. Are you talking about converting all 255 aircraft to 76 seaters (crj 900/emb 175) or adding additional 64/69/76 seaters (CRM 700, 900, emb 170, 175) to the 255 count? Both options suck but the latter sucks da mostest!

Hoserpilot

The company is currently at its maximum allowable 76 seat jet count per our scope. I'm talking about not allowing Delta management to fly even 1 more 76 seat jet beyond what they are currently allowed without a Delta pilot at the controls. That's the prize and our union is trying to get us to focus on what's in the other hand. I'm not buying it because I've seen that parlor trick before. We are where we are now because my generation fell for it.

Exactly and I am not going to cast a vote on a hypothetical or rumor. I want to see the TA and the language crafted.

Sorry Carl, that is only fair to this group. If I were a rep the same would apply.the devil is in the actual language not leaks or rumors.

As for your last, I agree with that. I'm not falling for anything. I will submit that the current generation of rj's will be gone in ten years. They will not be able to compete with the gtf. The real danger is top and middle end. Rjs will die on the vine and as they do we need to close the manhole.

Don't believe he is there anymore.
