He did not say what aircraft he flew. He was just saying that we all have to remember to check whatever ego or attitude we may have at the door.
The question becomes do they (DAL) want to fly with us on a three day trip. Most anyone is tolerable for an hour or two but maybe not over three days. The point isn't just for military guys applying, it just happened to be a military pilot. It could be a civilian with entitlement issues or military guy who thinks they did 5 deployments to the desert and deserves the job now.
It's been said over and over, anyone who gets the interview is qualified, the question becomes are you someone they want to fly with for a long period of time.
Just trying to pass info along and help others who haven't interviewed out. No finger pointing here. We all have thick skin and it could be anyone turned down for an attitude problem.

When Delta was hiring in '07, '08 and '10 there were posts here or on other sites as to what was candidates thought or knew tripped them up on interview day. Just curious: Anyone hear if the test is an issue for some, or the cog test, or is mostly the interview so far? Hard to get an impression yet since we're not hearing much as to how many are making the cut these days.

Also just to be clear "arrogant and full of himself" were my words not the Chief Pilots. The CP just said he was let go for his attitude whatever that was. I should NOT assume that was what he meant. It could have been for any number of things regarding his attitude. Just wanted to clear the air on that.
I'll think 3-5 times next time before sharing information.

IMHO, secret agreements are unenforceable. Further, when a Pinnacle pilot brings a grievance against Delta management there will be some interesting conversations involving craft and class.
