So quick question...a guy in my squadron got "hired" last week in his interview, only to get an email today saying something came back on his psych eval that requires it to go to a board that convenes every 6-8 weeks....then they will let him know if he's still hired. Anybody have experience or knowledge in this matter?

Nowadays, they send such candidates to a board and the board determines whether to ignore the psychologist and hire the person or to go with the psyche's recommendation. Guy in my squadron said two guys in his interview class went to "the board". One guy got hired, the other didn't. Good luck to your buddy.
