More curious too is the fact that they are growing us so much in NYC. I know thats where DL normally sends their regionals to die but I wouldnt think they would execute that plan while trying to win the market.

By then we would all be better off if Delta realized that a EtD program is still not going to staff DCI and they bring the 76-fleet to mainline. They can then have an EtD program and let all the regional lifers fly the 50-seat jets that are left. When all the growth they are trying to staff is for the 76-seat fleet they should just have that at mainline. Be easy to run a 50-seat DCI operation with lifers who don't want to go anywhere.

So there will be no need for that part of the flying? And DAL will abandon those markets that don't support 737s and up? Who will do it? I gues AAL could do it since they all ow a thousand small RJs. Or is it too bad so sad for some of those smaller communities?

Yes, the EtD program is poorly considered.
Delta is one RJ accident from being very difficult to insure entity.
