You mean it's not in the fine print on the form where they allow you contact your employer about sick time and absences?

While in their eyes, they have more applicants than they can shake a stick at, I feel like a lot of good people are falling through the cracks that don't need to be. Anyway, rant over...

Glad to know I'm not the only one that feels like this.

Amen to this^^^^^^^!!! Pilot dude, I don't get it either. I know once we get the interview our credentials will matter and play a huge aspect of getting the job. I just can't figure out the selection team and AK's process. What's the magic? Maybe if we pull a Bruce Jenner that will get us the attention to be selected .

I have networked my way through friends and acquaintances all the way to AK who said my app had been scored and I'm "currently not among the most competitive candidates". So, in the end, I don't know if it is in the circular file or still on the pile waiting for them to get to tier 67.

Good luck!
I feel your pain. I received a fix it about a year and a half ago. No word since. Clean training record, turbine PIC, lots of volunteer history, high GPA from a major aviation university, app reviewed by AeroCrew....

The creds get in the door; the interview is about you, not the resume.

Is there somewhere that specifically asks for job history back to high school? I remember seeing a 10 year request.

Please enter your COMPLETE employment history.
Jobs requiring background checks will need a 10 year history. If you have not worked the last 10 years, your work/unemployment/education must account for the last 10 years.

Do Not include your Primary Employment. To add each employer, complete the form below and click the Add button.

Note: It is not necessary to enter information chronologically.

ATTENTION MILITARY: Please enter each permanent station and/or extended temporary duty as a separate period of employment.
