The early retirements are about 1% of scheduled. FWIW.
They were good with efficiency improvements. Wider planning by network and making out stations more homogeneous in aircraft type help a lot, 320 and 737 fleet flexibility is something that really helps... them be more efficient.

Or cheat and memorize something for face value and never know the meaning behind what you are memorizing...aka comprehension...a higher form of learning

The practice tests are a good representation of the JKT but they don't help you learn the concepts that are needed to answer the questions. Those aren't easy to glean from just taking the practice tests. I did almost all of the JKT prep on RST in about three weeks. It's a lot, and if you're pressed for time there's some stuff you can just skim, but the job is worth reading the source material if you can.

You'll be good. I would definitely recommend going over it a second time right before you interview. Enjoy thanksgiving (but make sure you can still fit into your suit) and then own that interview. Good luck!

That's not realistic and everyone knows it. Aren't the "recommnded texts" basically every major 5 pound book in aviation? That's not a "study guide".
And how many pilots have "learned and grown" to the point they can reliably cypher distance from a station from radial passage alone, coupled with how many degrees to crab at cruise as well as through the descent with changing winds? Please.
I bet if you went to any major top tier medical institution, very few (if any) accomplished neurologists/transplant specialists/etc could ace the first year med school anatomy exam naming every tendon in the foot etc.
