DAL Poolie Info

I wonder if that's going to drive creative scheduling, though, and make trips less commutable. For sure, I can see that changing some folks' bidding strategies. If you were senior enough to bid two sets of those linked back-to-back, then another one by itself, you could get an 82hr line with two 5-day blocks, one 3-day block, all commutable together, and 17-18 days home.
At the least, it dis-incentivizes multiple red-eyes (if those are even permissible at DAL).
Meanwhile there are 6 similar trips to this 10-hour credit 3-day in June's open time at JetBlue (and about 5 more that pay sub-11 hrs):
SU BOS-SDQ 2225-0223 (with 1+hr from landing to the hotel)
TU SDQ-BOS 0319-0719
B6 pilots: Read this stuff and bring it to the negotiating table. This is why junior line holders see 12 days off with 85 hours, and junior reserves fly just shy of guarantee every month, and why you need a CBA. You've got a super interim MEC, and lots of people who will be great in the permanent MEC/LECs. Go fix this!

There will however more then likely be far fewer of them after Carmen is programmed with the new rule. The legs will be built into longer trips.

Might as well be you.

Because the economic penalty was not big enough to override other issues. I had a schedule volunteer also explain NY was somewhat unique because of high transport and layover costs. It also has a higher average stage length then any other base. This makes it easy to have plenty of long legs to deliver a min credit solution.

Thats how I read it too. What was the carve out they eliminated versus the carve out that was added? That confuses me.

Everyone has to realize that ADG is calculated for the entire trip. It is an average for the trip length not a per day credit.
In other words, if I'm on a 3 day trip and fly 7 hours on the first day, 0 on the second and 7 on the third, I'm not going to get paid 19:15, I'm going to get paid 15:45.
