Our class had a mix of new hire FO paired with new hire FO as well as upgrading CA with new hire FO. It seemed fairly random as some above and below me in class seniority had FO vs FO while I got a new CA. I am sure they try to get CA and FO pairings as much as possible. Either way, there is no choice or bidding. You get handed a schedule and it is what it is.

who knows how it works. Got a couple of friends that interviewed in July OTS and they just finished INDOC.

He would fly my Montreal turns at the end of a four day so I could catch a commuter flight to ORD. Try that now.... Winthrop Yacht Club, you pays yo' dues at C/S... Oddly.. the F/O's were not fond of that deal.

AF is calling OTS for 10/20. I'm a deferral, and the class is already half full. 50 person class, so probably 25ish still to get filled. Not sure how many more he was calling today. I told him I would pass on info, so he wouldn't get a million calls.
No guaranteed dates for Nov or Dec, but he thinks there will likely be 2 classes per month like there have been.
