Any info on the time between indoc and 717 training? Has there been a significant delay between them?

Thanks

Great question. A friend got the M88 in the last class and said it was a 3-week wait. A friend in the 737 only had 1 week off to study. I, too, am curious about 717 wait times.

I think the wait time in between class depends on a few factors. I think one of them is the last 4 of your SSN in terms of determining when you start aircraft specific training, like all things with seniority.

Going forward, I think the next class is 17 Nov which will be interesting because the two weeks will fall over the T-giving holiday. I am wondering how that will work and if class would break the wed prior and start back up on Friday or the following Monday, or they would try to finish indoc on the wed prior to T-giving?

Next class is not Nov 17th. There is a Nov 10th class. Calls are going out for it to CJOs on 9/4.

I was the first to pick (Highest Last 4) 717s in my indoc class and had exactly one week between indoc and start of 717 training. The 14th out of 14 717s in my class had to wait about 2 1/2 weeks between. I would say for most airframes you can expect anywhere between 1 and 3 weeks and once again the higher your last 4, the shorter your wait will be.

Official word at the school house is 115 new hires per month through at least April. Straight from the horses mouth.

Majority of 717 for new hires is still ATL but there is some MIA thrown in the mix. Seems like the people that get MIA are only there for the last two weeks of training but your results my vary.
