AF is Andy in the pilot selection office who works the class schedules I believe. He should call you when they have a class for you, so I'm told.Originally Posted by Olario

It sounds like with the flows starting to fill classes soon, the pool could start filling up and longer wait times for OTS hires are inevitable? Plus the the holidays are approaching too, which probably doesn't help.

I think you missed that I'm in the 10/20 class. I have been deferred since 9/8. I talked to AF yesterday, and I was passing along gouge to the group. He said he loves to answer as many questions as he can for poolies, but he is getting a bit inundated with guys asking the same questions.Originally Posted by Jetnfast

BLUF: 1. Flows get called before OTS, so if you hear a class is getting filled, you need to ask if it is being filled by flows or OTS before you start wondering if you are going to be called for it.
2. He has no reason to believe that it will not continue to be 100 people per month in classes probably in 2 classes per month, but he does not have any firm date past 10/20.
3. OTS are being called for the 10/20 class, but he would not say which hiring date would likely make it in this round.
Received the call yesterday for a 20 Oct class--interview was 18 Sep
