One caveat to MikeF16's excellent write up- there is company provided transportation to/from the airports. Called Crew Runner, it's provided for the FAs, but pilots can ride space available. Just used it last week, LGA to EWR. Cost is $3.00 tip. All the info and times are on DeltaNet. Just prepare to choke back all your cat rancher jokes and bring some ear plugs to block out the Chatty Cathys.

Other than going between LGA and EWR the Crew Runner is not a safe bet. The FAs have priority, I had pretty good luck in the beginning of the year but after about June it was full more often than not if trying to go from Kew Gardens to LGA or JFK.

Speaking of cat rancher jokes, I got a non-rev commute confirmation code yesterday of "H8FMEN." I thought maybe one of the ranchers was behind it.

Are headsets provided on the jets, or do I need to bring one? A UAL buddy said; he uses his own, as the provided ones are garbage. What do the DL folks do?
