Greetings,
Here is the update with 2/22 added. I moved the 10 endeavours from 2/2 to 2/22. Looks like no leap day class which is good because it would take 4 years to get off of first year pay. Ouch!
Very little info on interviews recently. Spread the word so I can keep this as accurate as possible. Especially if people jump ship for another airline.
By my estimates, July 8th is on deck for the first class in March.
Next update will be on or about 3 Feb when I hear about the Groundhogs day drop.

Cheers,
badger

Poolies, things are about to get ugly here with contract negotiations. I predict the pilot/management relationship will be the worst of the big 3 ( and probably worse than most regionals) within a year.
If you have other viable options, I recommend you give them a close look. Things here are moving rapidly and irreversibly towards the old "Northwest" meat grinder culture.

Bro, congrats on being a new hire.
Now put down the kool-aid bong and pay attention.
What's happening here will likely affect you a lot longer than if affects me. And if the company has its way, your career will mimic an internal combustion engine: it will suck, squeeze, bang, and blow.
Strap in. Open your ears and close your mouth.

One thing to note specifically for all of us poolies: one post on the TA forum encouraged anyone on probation (that hopefully will be us soon) to mind our P's and Q's. The poster said things could get ugly like at Northwest where management axed newbies who for whatever reason were found to be walking on thin ice. Interestingly enough one of my rec letters was written by a Delta A330 captain who used to fly for NWA before the merger. He said things at NWA toward the end were not fun. Not trying to paint a gloomy picture (who knows how things will go?), just that we should be smart when we finally start getting paid.

Remain silent while on probation. Period.
Do not comment on the contract negotiations or any other aspect of labor relations at Delta Air Lines. Leave that to all of us "old timers"
.Especially DO NOT say anything critical of management. Those poor guys are carrying a heavy burden these days.
