No...
Furthermore, if you have Tricare, then you CANNOT participate in the HSA plans by current regulatory restrictions...
It is what it is...

At Indoc OC Miller (chief of all hiring) said a rec is a rec and we are eligible to submit immediately. He actually said just put, "I recommend john smith... we don't care what else you say."
No magic number but I've heard that 4 or more recs scores higher. Internal emails to the hiring department (info on delta net) are what actually get them in the queue to be scored.

Just to clarify, an internal recommendation is different than a letter of recommendation that is put on file on AirlineApps from a delta.com email address?

How much is Delta's insurance per month? For me alone, or me and my wife (still practicing in the kid making department)? My wife has great insurance that we currently use with no associated cost, but being double insured is always nice.

DPMP is UHC also. Keep in mind though, that they just manage the benefits, it's not one of their actual plans. Delta sets the policy. I've had doctors offices tell me that UHC would never cover some procedure, but then they call and it gets approved, and they seem amazed.
If something is worse than TriCare, administered by military doctors, I'd be shocked.

Well, if you are on Tricare Reserve Select, you're not using military doctors, you just have to see an in network provider to avoid higher costs. Its basically like a blue cross plan but cheaper. Have to be in the reserve or guard though and active.

Dude, Tricare is the best you can do for cost and care options. Stop using military docs if you don't like them. Tricare standard is super cheap if you have the option and you can go where you want. TRS adds an embarrassingly small monthly premium when compared to employer healtcare plans and you get to keep using the docs you want...not military. When looking at delta plans vs Tricare I save about $12,000-$15,000 per year for my family on Tricare. No brainer

And if you're retired military, Tricare Standard is awesome insurance. A pittance a month for premiums, 20% co-pay after a small deductible, your choice of doctors, etc. No Delta plans come close.
I do have Delta's TriCare Supplement insurance. ItS not real cheap, but I never pay a cent other than premiums.
TriCare is a no brainier...just choose Prime if close to a base and can stomach the managed care. Otherwise choose Standard and be happy.

I just retired from the military and we moved to Atlanta (Cumming) for my job with Delta. I always thought with TRICARE your only choice was Standard unless you live by a military base then you could do Prime. However, if you don't live by a base (not sure of the exact milage) then you can get on Prime. I was able to pick any doctor I wanted that accepts TRICARE. I see that doctor for all of my medical needs. If I need something that he can't handle then they do the referral. I can change my primary care physician at any time if I am not happy. Cost wise is great too, I pay $565.20 per year and they break it down monthly so $47.10 per month is taken out of my retirement pay check.
