It's good you cracked the code so early. Just remember, in the end we are nothing more than hired help, a payroll amount to be managed that doesn't impact the bottom line detrimentally.

Well, until the fecal matter impacts the rotating/oscillating environmental control device.

THEN, pilots and they're salaries keep people up at night

But yes, as someone that's been through furlough/shut down, mutiple displacements and concessions, it's a valuable lesson. When times are good, there's profits, the company is prospering, it's VERY EASY for management to do things to give the illusion that employees are valued. When it's not good, they're simply another line item cost that needs to be managed. And they wouldn't think twice about shedding you **cough cough furlough cough cough**

Yep, blows.......

"Builds character"

Point remains, it's valuable for the young whipper snapper/FNG's to be aware of it.

Default DAL healthcare

Can sometime tell me who the healthcare provider is for Delta? I don't need a long list of policies, just who provides it.
Also, who holds and manages the 401k?

Thank you

United Healthcare for the HSAs and I'm not sure if they also manage the contractually obligated Delta Pilots Medical Plan.

Fidelity is used for the 401k.

DPMP is UHC also. Keep in mind though, that they just manage the benefits, it's not one of their actual plans. Delta sets the policy. I've had doctors offices tell me that UHC would never cover some procedure, but then they call and it gets approved, and they seem amazed.

If I decide to stay with Tricare and decline the insurance, does Delta give a certain amount of money back to you each month? Currently, Southwest gives $50 if you decline their insurance.

At Indoc OC Miller (chief of all hiring) said a rec is a rec and we are eligible to submit immediately. He actually said just put, "I recommend john smith... we don't care what else you say."

No magic number but I've heard that 4 or more recs scores higher. Internal emails to the hiring department (info on delta net) are what actually get them in the queue to be scored.

No, you get nothing for using outside insurance.
