Good for you. That doesn't mean that everyone on 4th year pay will want to do that. Some people don't like time zone changes. That is why it's great to work here rather than someplace that flies only one kind of airplane. You have options. And just because it isn't your cup of tea doesn't make it bad. I personally have no desire to fly the 330/777. Doesn't mean I believe they are worthless airplanes. I've had my fill of international for now. So go have fun in Amsterdam.

Do you think a E190 left seat should make more than a wide body FO?
At DOS a 12 year 777B will make about $23 more than e190A but $11 less than a 717.

But, as I said, no one will be flying the E190 at 12 years, so that comparison is moot.

That's why they make chocolate and vanilla ice cream; not everyone likes chocolate. I've been on the international gig for the last 12 years (ER-B and 777-B) Can't seem to make the math work out for the left seat for anything smaller than a 73N.
Lower pay for the E jet might not be fair, but I don't see it as a major issue. BTW, it wasn't all that long ago when the left seat in the ER (and the 330, I think) wasn't all that much more than $180/hour.

I will never understand.
