I'm staying in bed today.
I don't want to get hit by a meteor.
Under our TAs healthcare plan, is there a paid sick leave option for either fear of global economic meltdown or fear of getting hit by meteors?
Will Sedgwick be denying it? Will the new company AME be releasing that info to the FAA?

Unless, of course, it was later discovered that the "must have" concessions they wanted were really worth much more.
That couldn't be the case though.

If Delta vaporized tomorrow... That would make me sad, I wouldn't be able to go out to the airport and watch the airplanes come and go anymore. On the bright side, my box of moldy "FLY DELTA'S BIG JETS" bumper stickers might be collector's items......

This month the total Delta pilot concessions since 9/11 now exceed $16 billion.
At a conservative 5% rate of return that is $800 million a year for our sacrifice. And that is just the money. We will never get back the time lost with our families.
Another $200 million per year would have passed with an overwhelming yes vote. We will never understand the actions of our executives and DALPA with regard to this failed and insulting TA.
We don't want to break the bank. We want a fair deal. A deal that gets us more time with our families and raises our pay to a fair level.
For the sell outs that will attack my $16 billion.
1) I have requested an accounting from ALPA over 100 times.
2) we have passed resolutions requesting the number. Still DALPA refuses to provide it.
3) the Delta pilots pay tens of millions each and every year in union dues. ALPA experts could provide this number in a week if tasked.
Our leaders have passed on opportunities that are too many to recount. Why?
If the only thing we got in this TA was a bag of M&Ms and a 24 pack of free toilet paper the usual suspects would be selling it with all they have.
THERE IS NO DEFENDING THIS TA

That before or after the Delta AME reports something to the FAA that was already resolved, yet now is taking years to fix the mistake and get my medical back?
