Details on Delta TA

You absolutely made a false statement because the Negotiating Committee Chairman and another member of the committee were re-elected, the third member of the NC was an F/O rep who was in favor of C2012, all of which discredits your theory that there was a house cleaning as a result of C2012. Furthermore, 2 out of 3 of the current members of the NC were on the C2012 committee. You assigned a motive with no basis in fact.
Furthermore, the others you allude to resigned from their positions, two of them were elected to other positions and another was asked to come back and help KR.

Wow, Delta's contract sucks. What is good about this contract? I've found nothing so far except the pay is better than my regional.
Just got bit by the "*" rotation trip removal feature.
Okay, rant over.
Schedule survey to come. I hope folks read the contract comparisons.

Don't listen to that nonsense man. Welcome to Delta. We do have our share of guys here like Rather B Fishin who take it as a personal insult if you find fault with anything Delta or DALPA. The Delta contract does suck in some ways, but a few guys like Rather B Fishin get crabby when you actually say it out loud.
Hoping for our new blood with a fresh set of eyes and stiffer backbones to help us get better. Look for me over in Tokyo when you get there and I'll buy you a beer. I'll be the guy with all the women that Rather B Fishin scared away.

Btw, have a SWA guy pitch in on their vacation too. Their value IS what it drops.

It seems to me that you're asking for the comparison to show the various bidding systems that carriers have, along with the nuances of each. Having read now about some of those nuances at FedEx, and knowing a bit about our old LOT system at Delta, our current PBS, and a few other systems at other airlines, I'm having trouble imagining how you provide a full look at each on a page or two of a comparison.

Agreed. Their 2012 contract comparison shows their vacation to be trips dropped or 3.75 TFP per day, whichever is greater. DALPA's comparison just shows 3:15 per day, which they say is based on 3.75 TFP.

The insiders have made the deal to trade our profit sharing for hourly increases. We trade a dollar for 4 quarters and DALPA declares victory. Then the selling machine and another cost neutral jam down.
If we reduce profit sharing it is game over. C2015 will be a repeat of C2012 and completely cost neutral. If we can hold the line and keep profit sharing, we cannot fail.
The most important part of your survey is to protect profit sharing and move it off the table.
