Very classy (cough cough). Why don't you join him?

BTW, johnso29, you, and acl65 still show up as moderators on the moderators page.

80kts,

Why did you pull down PD's post from a few minutes ago? Because you and your classy friends found the phrase "3bil" to be offensive? It certainly couldn't have been because he used the words "butt hurt," after all he was only quoting YOU.

What happened to your request to "Set your political leanings aside and enjoy some good natured ribbing..." It seems you and 3bil can dish it out but you can't take it. You should follow his lead and resign as well.

I find it ironic that you're in the same crowd that will overlook a CRIMINAL ACT (hacking someone else's website) and pass it off as a prank, yet mere words, tasteless as they may have been, offends you to the core. Although TC apologized for his remarks, you continue to be "offended." Talk about hypocrisy and double standards.
I don't think I have commented on that letter in the last 2 years. I never saw a letter from TC saying it was wrong and I looked after it was pulled. I will take your word that he put one out. I do know it was suggested that he resign from any DPA efforts and he refused. If anyone at ALPA put something remotely like that letter out you would be screaming for their resignation. You would be 100% correct in demanding that.
I know nothing about the hacking so I have made no comment about it other then the supposed big FBI investigation which I found a somewhat comical. All I know is some John Doe may have hacked their website. Name him and bring charges. If he did something illegal he should be held accountable.

sailing- TC did respond and apologized. That was the start of the long decline though. That letter was perfectly timed when they could have had enough cards (mine was active at the time) to call for a vote in the wake of the shock of how lackluster C2012 was. He culled that advance with the abortion letter and further stumblings.

index- That's pretty low. johnso stepped down... you won. Are you that classless?

I guess you've opted for the butthurt form as opposed to the "good natured ribbing."

Also--is your quest to take care of yourself being conducted as a line pilot, or as a member of management (or future hopes to join management)?
The stuff you make up! I have long advocated for the pilot group as a whole including offering to pay every furloughed pilot. I have also pointed out often the effects of contract changes on junior pilots.
I can also assure you I have never applied for a management job nor will I.
I will rephrase my statement. I am for the group that will deliver the most value to the pilot group. Nothing in the historical record, the last 20 years of airline history or anything else suggests DPA could even remotely achieve that. The coming contract will be fought in DC and will require a extensive network.
There is one thing I do agree with DPA about. When they started their efforts to represent the Delta pilots they pledged to end that effort well before openers were to be exchanged on contract 2012 if they did not get enough cards for a vote. Their logic was that a divided pilot group could not achieve the best possible contract and their effort at that point would be detrimental to the pilot group as a whole.
Sadly they failed to honor their own pledge.
