Or, much more likely, because the NC and reps, acting INDEPENDENTLY and WITHOUT REGARD to what the survey results said, acted as dictators and supplanted their will for the majority will.

What is their general consensus regarding scope in DAL's C2015? Will it be relaxed? More seats per aircraft? More larger aircraft in 2 for 1 swaps?

Delta pilots, please think in terms of physical number of outsourced seats, and not e usual metrics the unions feed us.

Also remember that regional aircraft directly lay into air congestion, and have larger carbon unit footprints. So let's go green in 2015, and hold scope. Bring more outsourced ASMs mainline. The 50 seats will take care of them selves.

First of all, this is an anonymous forum. I'd be pretty happy if any of several former NYC reps posted on here, but I don't believe they do.

Second, this is an anonymous forum. I've argued for everyone's right to remain anonymous, even the ones I don't see eye-to-eye with, even the ones I strongly suspect are current reps playing innocent. Not knowing who people are is an integral part of participating on APC.

If Shiznit wants to tell you who he is, he'll tell you.

Perrsonally I don't see any reason why flying international should pay more than flying domestic and why international perdiem should be more than domestic. After all....flying international IS a choice. It's also a lot less work....or so I'm told.;):D

Question #87

This won't affect any of us, but it's the right thing to do.

87. How important is it to provide a hotel room for a new-hire pilot's training?

We need to take care of our newhires. For all the good things about coming to work here, it's incredible to me that Delta doesn't currently provide a hotel room for the duration of training. I'd even be in favor of a hotel room bank where ATL guys (myself included) could donate their unused rooms to be allocated to newhires. I don't need a hotel room on VA Ave for a month for IQ, but a newhire that doesn't live here certainly does.

Please keep them in mind as you fill out this question.

Absolutely. But then they'd have to give hotel rooms to the FA's. Oh, wait a minute ...:p

I agree it's the right thing to do.

Alan

Love the way you think. I hope you are right.

In the DPA survey CDOs fail 68% to 38% so far.

98% want to keep our profit sharing where it is or increase it. 92% do not want to trade profit sharing for hourly increases like C2012.

Do you believe we will not disregard the line pilots and reduce profit sharing again?

Jerry

No, they're in dorm rooms in the Training Center. They receive a small stipend and housing, but are otherwise unpaid until their post-training hire date.
