Pointing out facts is not insulting people. Lies and spin are going to get highlighted here. Get used to it.

Again, only you are saying this. Arguing and railing against yourself seems unproductive. Nobody said the reps were forced, duped or tricked. The second that MEC administration signed TA2012 knowing it didn't meet the reps' direction, the reps knew exactly what the strategy had been all along. But they put their anger aside and decided on which of the two bad choices was the least bad. After the vote, they cleaned house.

Trying to make facts go away by yelling CONSPIRACY is a tried and true response from nearly every ALPA apologist here. Along with "black helicopters", "tin foil hats", etc... You might be new dude, but the tactics are old.

Bananie joined in March, and he sounds like an old pro.

I wonder who he was posting as previously?

I stand corrected...only Karnak has ever posted these ideas.

Lee Moak is a "line pilot" too.

Contract question: If the ADG were to be raised to 6 hours (like FedEx) is there an unintended consequence that we might be getting into? Example, if each day on duty must essentially be worth 6 hours, what would prevent the trip constructions to actually BE 6+ hours of block each day? It wouldn't affect the 757s and up so much, but the small narrowgauge airplanes might find their rotations becoming more fatiguing. DAL abhors credit time, and just because we will have to be paid 6 hours could actually mean tht we will have higher block days. It would be OK for awhile, but I think it wouldn't take long for the fatigue level to rise substantially. What do ya'll think?

I'm all for a better ADG...... I go to work to actually work not hang out shooting the sh!t. But more importantly I would like to see a true minimum day replace the ADG.

Yeah don't get me wrong, I'd like to see it raised too. I just wondered if it could result in more fatiguing trips. We all want more productive trips, but working harder (more productive) ALL the time might be detrimental to that fatigue level over time.

6 hrs/day is the only way I'd bid domestic captain.

"More Productive" also means less pilots required.

If everyone is flying 6+ hours per day instead of 5:15, they won't need as many pilots to cover all the flying.

Be careful what you ask for.
