If this is true, it's absolutely inconceivable that they're allowing PS to be touched.

Count me as a no vote.

Are you reading this, operatives?

Great little back and forth from May 2012 after the rumors of what was in TA2012 started:

I patiently waited hoping tweeking would occur. I emailed my reps, neither returned any form of aknowledgement.

Now I will read the TA with an open mind - once -.

If it is as disapointing as it sounds, I will vote twice. No and yes. I believe many fence sitters like myself will be voting the same way.

Again, I have always said that DALPA will meet their demise by their own hand. This folks is it. By negotiating this TA in this environment and passing it to us and saying this is the best we could do, is an insult.

However, to take a 4% pay raise and get 2/3 of your previous profit sharing amounts to no pay raise at all. Surely it is obvious to them as well as everyone else. If when I receive the official TA it does amount to 4-8.5-3-3% with a 1/3 reduction in profit sharing then I will know that the rumors were true and the information was withheld to manage my expectations.

If these numbers are accurate I too will be voting NO for this TA. I have previously always voted YES.

35% of 200m = 70m
1% of pay is around 25-27m
So 70m/27 = roughly 2.59%

Not a gain or loss... Just a move.
The "shift" is of course a self-funding. Exactly what our survey said we didn't want. The pilot survey categorically stated that profit sharing must not be touched. Both my reps and Donutelli said that's what the survey showed.

Donutelli and the team are undoubtedly working hard to spin this as an adherence to the pilot survey. It'll be funny/sad to read it.

APA is a union. DALPA is a partner with their management family.

I know you trust your rep Purp, but your rep wouldn't know. This leak is coming from somebody with inside proximity to the negotiations and that person knows they're about to attempt another cram-down to the reps and dare them to vote a signed TA down. By leaking this info, the hope is that members will activate our reps as we did with CDO's. Hope it works.

This is why I didn't waste my time filling out the survey. I wanted to. I just knew we are going to get what ALPA and Delta wants us to have, not what we want. Want to make a bet that the Atlantic joint venture is modified to bring the company back into compliance and our grievance is thrown out?
