Details on Delta TA
#4722
When a name shows up so many times and many bow down and idolize, I step back, observe, read and question. One name in recent history burned a lot of smart and educated investors/markets. The sales spin machine touted: "No one could do better, no one had better data and the products were a win-win". You might think I am talking about Madoff, but I am not. Im talking about the excellent
money making tool called "derivatives" which bundled a load of crap and sold it off to unsuspecting yet educated investors and governments. You know what happened next, right? We sit here today in the aftermath.
Be very careful when people claim they are experts. They are humans, their goals and objectives might seem to be pure but in the long run GREED, POWER and POLITICS are at play with a majority of them.
Im not implying my opinion is about anyone person. I am just making sure you take this TA serious. Even if it costs $500-600, go to a neutral party/labor attorney and have them decipher it for you.

In addition to that, we were told that many pilots wanted to fly domestically so they could get more time instead of languishing at min guarantee. While its hard to believe someone would want to work 85ish hours to make 85ish hours versus exactly zero hours to make 75ish hours is mind blowing…yet sadly probably true to some degree.

I didn't see more DCI scope relief coming.
Here comes more 76 seat jets and possibly unlimited 70 seat jets.
And the sales job? We are parking all the 50 seaters!
I guess I'm just old school and I don't get it.
Why would we give up mainline flying during record profits?
Why wouldn't our DALPA leaders ensure these 70/76 seat jets come to mainline?
Any reps who vote for this should be recalled and deprogrammed.
This is a historical mistake.

No, it's your move deuce. I haven't done as you allege and my posts reflect that. Prove your argument. I'll stand by my words. Will you?

The first proposals in section 1 were exchanged on 20 May. We have not even given the company a reply yet. Perhaps the rumors are about rumors on what might be in our rumored reply based on rumors of what might have been in managements opener!
