You say that absent one issue, you could support this ta.

You then admit that the pay is "underwhelming."

You could really support a ta that has "underwhelming" pay during what is probably the best negotiating environment we have had in a long, long time?

Billions and Billions of record profits, combined with the company finding 5 BILLION lying around to do a stock buyback with, and you are ok with "underwhelming" pay?

I am also curious what you think the "plenty good" (your words) is in this ta? Plenty?

I've got no real problem with those guys getting information out, but it most certainly is selling when you downplay, SEVERELY, any downsides of an item.

180 directly affected? 1-2% change in lineholders? And that's all that's bad about it?

EVERY SINGLE FO's QOL below the top guys still getting trips pulled will go down.

Weekends off, holidays off, commutable, 5 leggers, baseball games, etc, etc,

It will affect them all in all categories. To insinuate that this affects only a few is selling. It's quite literally punishing the FO's for the company's unwillingness to staff properly leading up to the retirement wave.

NOT OUR PROBLEM to solve for them and certainly not by selling the QOL of half the pilot group.

I agree with your sentiment.

I have to admit. I was one that thought this time DALPA would come up with a pretty good TA. I voted yes for c2012, but this TA is horrid to say the least and I don't have much longer here at Delta. If this passes the MEC I will vote NO!

As do I.

We complain when we don't get any communication and we complain when someone is provided to answer questions. I for one appreciate their efforts at education.

Just a 2 year guy here that is expecting about an 18000 profit sharing check for 2015 wondering what that check looks like for 2016 if we make 6 billion?

The other thing is what impact on profit sharing is there if we traded all profit sharing for wages? ie if we take 500 million from the company in contract increases, this would reduce profits by 500 million and thus 100 million less in profit sharing to us?

Negative comments about the ta on facebook being deleted.......

That reeks of desperation.

Seems to me that if this ta was the "great/historic" deal they are making it out to be, it would stand on it's own and sell itself.

Wasn't dalpa pushing facebook and some other social media sites as a way to "stay involved" or something like that?

Now they are deleting that involvment?

So you're saying it's okay to censor or muzzle said "vocal minority?" What a joke.

I think it is clearly evident that we are not represented by our Alpa leaders. As is the case in Washington, D.C., our politicians do what they see best fit for their agendas and ignore the people they represent and who they are supposed to be working for. Spin it all they want but there is no doubt in my mind that we have been sold out for ulterior motives that do not favor the Delta line pilot. I am a NO vote.

I somewhat agree with you and others. However,

Education is one thing. Downplaying the adverse effects of a clause in this ta is another. They are playing on words. "Direct effect" on 180 people.......
