Dear Fellow Pilot,
Today your MEC voted to pass the tentative agreement on to you for membership ratification. Over the next several days, we will distribute a series of Negotiator’s Notepads that detail the proposed changes in the agreement. Additionally, these resource documents will all be printed and placed in your V-file. Beginning Tuesday, we will conduct a series of educational road shows around the system to give you greater access to the negotiators, and to afford you the chance to have your questions answered. At present we know the cities and dates, but do not yet have all the specific locations nailed down; when we have established a definite date and time for all road shows, we will publish that information in a future issue of Contrails. You will have the opportunity to vote on this agreement. To participate, you must be a member in good standing and be able to access the Delta MEC website at dal.alpa.org. Everything related to the tentative agreement is on our homepage, under the Negotiations 2015 banner, and we will continue to update the site with additional resources as they are produced, including the frequently asked questions of your fellow pilots. Sometime after the first road show, the Negotiating Committee will conduct a webinar, which will include the opportunity for you to ask questions of the negotiators. We will post the webinar to the website, along with a video of one of the roadshow presentations. The first roadshow is: June 16, Tuesday CVG 1-4 PM Doubletree Hotel Airport 2826 Terminal Drive Hebron, KY 41048 (859) 371-6166 Please take the time to make the most of your decision and plan to vote. Fraternally, Captain Mike Donatelli Delta MEC Chairman |

Yeah, it sounds like MOST of them did just that BUT if any one or more of them voted yes because they felt it needed to be passed on to a vote of the pilots, they have abdicated their responsibility and need to be recalled. I don't want a milk toast representative on the MEC making decisions he cannot defend.
Denny Make no mistake, those guys were instructed to send this out so the hard sell hyenas could misdirect their way to a 51% yes vote ushering in one of the most damaging TA's (think lost widebody flying and loss of personal privacy) in ALPA history. The only question now, will this be the first TA to get voted down in the history of the pilots of Delta Air Lines and can we remove guys from ALPA that failed to represent? |
So the MEC can do webinars? Who knew.

Bunch of self serving Idiots.... fail.

Not you man. Sorry. I'm tired. That could easily be misread.
I mean: Demand that you be communicated to in facts and thorough analysis. MEMRAT Predictions: It fails 52-48. C2012 passed about 60-40. If only 1in 10 sees the light we are at 50-50. Scoop |

As has already been said...SEA, SLC, LAX, ATL pilots...you know what has to be done here. Nestor never ceases to disappoint. Carl |
Let me vote now.
So I get to pay more dues to get a sell job from Alpa who doesn't care to listen to its members anyway, 100% NO - let me vote now.
