Way too early to tell. If Delta is running full steam ahead on all cylinders, another 20% is not out of the question. When AA finally comes back to the table our rates could be 30%+ ahead

Zero on those links to cause him any worry of lawsuits. Now, the MEC and a duty of fair representation....

Default Short call bucket

Haven't seen this mentioned anywhere, but I noticed while reading through it, that the TA changes the number of short calls needed to be in "short call bucket 2" from the current 3 to 2.

My response to this is: If you think we can be that far ahead of American then, why can't we 15/20%+ ahead on this contract? Not really any difference in my book.

Vague open-ended percentages do nothing for the debate.

Totally agree. Sick leave, and most of all Scope could very well tilt this to a no. To paraphrase Lenin, "The Pilots will sell us the scope with which we will hang them."

Overreach on these two items could very well be the undoing of this TA.

Because negotiations is not about what you think you deserve, it's what you can negotiate. If a professional negotiator says we've extracted maximum value, and I see all my colleagues around me(FDX/SWA/UPS) getting stomped on, I believe him!

Telling a professional negotiator you believe we can get 15-20% ahead is like a pax coming to your airplane after a wind shear related diversion and stating the weather isn't so bad you could have made it!

I'm sorry I couldn't be more specific about 3 years down the road. I truly apologize.

The larger issue that I hope pilots will decipher this as the blatant attempt to divide this pilot group into three tribes that got something off the backs of the other tribes.

INDUSTRIAL PSYCHOLOGICAL OPERATIONS.
