So it's true. Another Easter egg in this TA. Now we're giving the MEC Chairman discretion to facilitate more outsourced flying cleverly disguised as Delta. And with MEC chairmen like we've had from Lee Moak to present, I think we all know how that's going to go. More proactive engagement at any cost.

Ask yourself, why would Delta ram a TA through 6 months early ? Oh, it's not because there is an airplane order to place. Don't be naive.
In my opinion, it's one of two things. Purely a guess.
1) to get pilots to accept lower pay for hopes of PS knowing there isn't going to be any. Delta mgmnt is well plugged into Wallstreet.
2) they want to buy Alaska with 3rd party and 3rd party won't engage with contract due.

The funny thing about the E175 at DCI and E190 here, one is outsourced, one is ours:

The funny thing will be if they bring the E190s back east to do one half of the shuttle and run E170s at DCI for the other half of the shuttle.

They're an Atlanta based law firm founded by Michael Campbell who was also a VP for us, retired, then came back to handle these negotiations for management. The firm specializes in breaking unions and industrial psychological ops. Many posters here who came from the regionals know all too well the tactics they use. Specifically, co-opting Union leaders and weakening the target Union from the inside.

Odd thing about the FO LCA thing. You have an FO getting GS #8, GS #9 in NYC73N. To get to the point where said FO gets #8 and #9, they had to have nobody available.
What's the plan when he doesn't have that time off anymore?

I'm keeping all my powder dry (money out of all investments) because I fear you are correct. The writing is on the wall. I just don't know what I should be doing in the meantime. Wait for a correction? What else is there?

To be clear, unlike what slowplay stated, the LCA trip pull thing is NOT industry standard.
Only united has the 75% thing-- US has some but it's overall a different deal, and the AA thing has been explained to me several times but I can't quite make heads or tails of it. Virtually all other airlines (FDX and the regionals, too) are similar to what we have (with varying recovery obligations).
It is a MAJOR concession that will affect all FOs as well as junior CAs.
