What is the biggest concession to you? I'm not of a fan of the TA's proposed solution to sick leave, but the company isn't going to agree to anything that doesn't address it in some fashion. I'm open to alternatives.

If you vote no we won't have to change a thing . No concessions whatsoever. Now there's a concept.

6 billion dollar buyback. It's a good thing we don't have a high percentage of 30 year old planes with 2020 around the corner. The Texan has fallen off the wagon.

On another note Professor, if you are only trying to verify a illness and the company doesn't agree with your Dr and wants you to release your medical records (14.G.1/2), why do they need access to consecutive days before and after? How many days are we talking about? The company's only concern should be the work days you were sick, not anything else...

Denny
I agree with Denny.......

I think it's great that we no longer have to call in well, but how are days off between two or more sick calls "lost days"?

Also, why does State Sick count against me and my sick history (yes I know it's in the current contract that way). On 1 June 15 I had to call in State Sick to take care of my wife post surgery. I've now used 13 of 15 of my days (according to DALPA Contract Admin).

The whole sick thing is just way too cumbersome.......what's the old saying, "keep it simple stupid".

AT NWA we built time from month to month. The big debate was, is sick leave a benefit or an insurance policy. Not much has changed, but now the company calls guys who consider it a benefit to be used "abusers".

Ferd

PS.......At one time I had 5 years straight perfect attendance and I carried a ton of time into the merger. Except for last year with 90 something hours I've used around 50ish per year since the merger. I'm not an abuser trying to keep my scam going

Default Question for Sink and Professor

Guys,

First off thanks for volunteering. Here is my question.

For months I have been hearing from DALPA that the company will have their wants and this is a negotiation and that both sides will have to make concessions.

So what were our concessions? I have yet to hear about a single concession from the official DALPA correspondence. Since you guys are dealing with facts please list what concessions of ours that this TA includes.

Thanks Scoop

Why do you think Sedgwick was hired?

It's obvious and the timing is not coincidental.

Has anyone else noticed that the union moved up the vote to within 30 days instead of 60 (voting ends July 10th), which happens to be right before 2nd quarter earnings are released on July 15th??? Coincidence, I doubt it... Especially since even the company acknowledged that it should be the biggest profit in Delta history!

Just got word that Shiznit has reincarnated to the screen name...

Wait for it,

Wait for it,

Professor.

I'm stunned I tell you. Stunned.

21 hours.

I have been at a 3 day meeting. 1 day of training. And currently average 6 hours a day everyday answering questions on various social media outlets.

So before we start accusing a mis-use of FPL, get the facts.

I'm not complaining. I am a volunteer. But get your facts straight and stop the childish and baseless allegations to try and recruit other's to your island of rancor and discontent.

But, as always, please keep the questions flowing and we will attempt to get you information.

Professor-
I would like to know if that is true.
I don't know your identity so I can't check for myself.

I have not been one of the guys hard over about flight pay loss; but you've gone to great lengths to present yourself as a straight shooting, just the facts, no deception kind of guy.

Has ALPA really bought 3 of your trips this month or not?
You said 21 hours. Is that accurate?
