I know I am a really shallow guy. My wife tells me that all the time. At this point in the voting cycle if I get a communication from anyone that is more than two short paragraphs it goes in the trash.
If I'm a no voter, it ****es me off.
If I'm a yes voter, it ****es me off.
If I haven't made up my mind, I don't have time or I'm too lazy to bother.
Keep it short. Leave me alone.

One step at a time gentlemen.
We need to defeat this TA.
The ALPA sales machinery is cranking at 110%.
Now they've even got Richard Anderson out selling this thing.
This C44 letter and Anderson's message are all about fear of the future.
They've realized they can't get the votes if they rely on the TA's merits.
We need to get the message out that ALPA's dire warnings about what will happen if we vote no are totally unfounded.
ALPA is scared. The Delta pilots should NOT be scared.
After this inadequate TA is rejected we will move forward in a calm and deliberate manner. Contract 2012 will remain in effect and we will make the necessary changes regarding our bargaining team and then return to the negotiations.
Management wants this contract more than we do. That's why they've pushed it through 6 months early. We do NOT have to agree to all these concessions. Let's send it back and do it right.
ALPA's fear campaign is a deception. A better deal is available.

There is no longer a traditional sales job going on. It's fear of the unknown job. There isn't enough upside of the TA to sell. Standby for heavy rolls. Donatelli will issue the "Mother of all" we will be screwed if this passes. Why did they give us a vote? Talk about not knowing your pilots.

"Last month, the majority of the MEC voted to approve this agreement for membership ratification."
If you read this quickly Hermon's use of italics makes it seem as if the MEC approved this agreement.
They did NOT! (my own italics)
Our union is not approving or recommending anything. They are merely inviting us to participate directly in the negotiating process. This thing needs some changes. Some more back and forth. That's all a NO vote does. Don't even look at it as a rejection, or turning down a deal. It's not. It merely says more work is needed to align this deal with the wishes of the majority.
I hope Richard, Donatelli, and the NC are smart enough to see that.

You were adamantly against C2012 when it was a TA up for a vote. So JCBA>C2012>TA2015.
Would you still say you prefer the JCBA to C2012 after how C2012 has turned out pretty much exactly as the "sell job" advertised?
*minus hiring being later than most expected
