...but wait, you don't want a raise because your profit sharing is just fine thank you very much.
Or concessions.

I don't think you read the information they put out, the FOM or the PA guide. Everything in there matches what we say.

If you are making long winded PAs in cruise you are not doing what they asked. And that's what we are all complaining about is people who don't do what's asked which is keep it short during normal ops.

So go read it. It's in there. Look at their example PA for cruise, it's very short. IFE is non existent.

It's obvious what they need us to do is engage when there is a need and not just overwhelm the customers with a long worthless cruise PA.

The problem is these pilots who want to hear themselves talk on the before takeoff and cruise. Those types don't honor quiet hours anyways which is in the FOM.

Btw, kudos to my fleet, we have one of the best meet and greet passengers on their way out the door record. Thank you.we are awesome.

I've got a bet going that Dharma is Rich Harwood. He spouted the same delusional rants on Facebook yesterday. Epic emotional breakdown.

These guys are showing their true colors. Their demands for "unity" were only valid as long as they controlled the message and the power structure. Now they are trying to salt the earth on their way back to the line.

What's really making them mad is that it's not working.

I'll post a spreadsheet and see what happens.

Sort of like how they were off the mark with their assessment of what we wanted in a TA.

If Dharma is RH, then I sincerely admire his love of animals. And I sincerely admire his smarts. And most importantly, my heart goes out to him for the tragedy that occurred in his household. I sincerely mean all above. Above all you are a brother.

However, I do not understand why you are aggressively trying to manipulate numbers and forecasts to hamper our progression as a pilot group. I dont get it. Please, sit down and please re-asses why you are an airline pilot.

I think you would be much better as a management type. IMHO, you are either LABOR or MANAGEMENT. No commingling.

Respectfully,

TEN

Some helpful takeaways from this thread:

1) Pilot customer engagement = pedophilia. Never give out wings unless hermetic barrier exists between you and kids. And don’t even think about giving “Billy” that airplane model!
2) The PA button needs to be soldered off. I hereby pledge to put away my old JetTrivia maps permanently no matter how badly I want to tell the pax about Niagara Falls at 2am.
3) John Wayne movies make excellent instructional guides when dealing with recalcitrant FAs (and kids).

Did I miss anything?

Yeah, road warriors want to get there on time and could care less about our PA's or how we wear our hats. Tourists could care less about our hats and want to get there on time at the least cost. Otherwise, American, United and Delta are brand X, Y and Z.

Our F/As kept the pax in line with a scary threat: "Knock that off or the Captain will make another PA!" It worked like a charm.
