There's lots of orange up in the PNW! I also want to throw out that this latest issue of the Widget with the negotiating team on the cover is phenomenal! There are lots of great articles in there including a lot of comparisons to United and other legacy contracts as well as some good history on how Northwest and Delta have negotiated contracts in the past. Absolutely superlative job, it's a very good read!!

Usually there are stacks of them in any of the CPOs.

Was the FO on probation?

No orange to new hires. I think they are still giving out the black and red ones at the dinner.

What I meant was did the FO not wear orange because he/she is on probation? That would be a good reason not to wear it.

I want to say 3 weeks ago I saw more orange..
Did CPO crackdown on it?

Just curious.
I was at the training center recently (looked for finis, nowhere in sight but saw an a$$ ton of new hires. I was as giddy to see them as they were to be here.). Anyway, I digress. I only saw two line pilots without orange. Exactly the opposite experience.

Indeed. I wish everyone understood that. I've gotten flak from two Captains now for not having an orange lanyard despite being on probation. I'm sorry, but I've seen hostages taken before. The ALPA pin will have to do for a few months.
