It was the company's choice to short man the operation. Clearly they thought themselves brilliant for doing so...now they can cry to the NMB about it.

That doesn't mean we need to roll over. They created the problem, they can fix it.

As pathetic as it was, I can and will live with C12 for years. Not giving up any more.

I'm very thankful for such a transparent NC/MEC... what a change from the previous smartest men in the room!
If you take the sum total of all concessions slowly released in multiple NNP emails and combined them into one message, we would revolt in a heartbeat. The slow and methodical release of minor concessions on a section by section basis is done to prevent an overwhelming negative response to a bad TA. We are being fed a giant turd one small bite at a time. At this rate we will eat an entire pile of horsexxxt, but never taste anything worse than an unwashed spoon.

Be EXTREMELY cautious how you view the transparency. A constant flow of small concessions looks better than all the bad news in one shot.

Exactly right. And what 'Gets' did we get? I can't find any! I see the NC 'Unlocking Value' for the company... but what Value came to us?

That is absolutely correct, and every one of us should do the same. Every single item in the TA should be a gain for the pilots. The market has been set and every area of our contract except one is at the BOTTOM. We should see improvement in EVERY area of our contract up to at least the current industry standard.

We should all be single issue voters. If the company tries to take away from the pilots on even one single issue, we vote NO, NO, HE!! NO. The concession stand is closed, period. They had the opportunity to hire 12 months sooner and prevent the "training crisis", they abdicated their responsibility. We threw them a slow, meatball pitch right over the plate they could have knocked out of the park on our re-opener, which they scoffed at. The market is rising on a daily basis, there is no requirement for concessions in any area.

Very few gets. Here's what I think we can list on the "gets" column

Reroute pay
FAA medical leave of absence
Fitness for duty relief codified
SEA becomes a hub
Category freeze reduction for short courses

They are slim but I feel id be remiss if I didn't acknowledge them. There are probably a few others that slipped my notice. Thing is, these are absolutely squat compared to what we are giving up. We fix every problem the company has identified in return for mediocre rates which we shouldn't have to give anything for.

Doesn't SEA being a hub effect the RJ flying from other hubs?

The fitness for duty needs to be changed to from automatically extending to needing implicit permission to extend.

Nevermind. Already covered in detail with other responses....

First of all, that's a case of "damning with faint praise" if ever I saw one.

Second, why is TA-1--the failed, utterly sub-par, first-time-ever at Delta voted down TA from over a year ago--any sort of yard stick whatsoever to measure any future TA against, particularly give the state of the industry and the gains made by other pilot groups?

Looking at the failed TA at all for any purpose with regard to the "good" or "bad" merits of a new TA is, in my opinion, a play into management's hand.
