Moral of the story: NYC sucks. Congrats to our new hires, it only feels like you'll be stuck in NYC forever .

And for those about to start indoc, there are enough remaining NYC slots to fill four more classes at the current pace, with enough time to hold an AE and open up more NYC slots for the new hires that start mid-March or later.

With about 40 people starting per month, won’t this entitlement last beyond mid-March?

Yes, but what I’m referring to are all the non-NYC vacancies that are available for new hires. A new AE could potentially fill those, and open more NYC vacancies, so that beyond March all new hires will still be sent to NYC.

National championship game tonight. Any over/under at 56.5, I'll take over. 'Bama by 6.5, I think Clemson will make it a good game, I"ll take Clemson to cover.

Betting my whole pension... (Not my retirement )

Clemson more than covered and it was over, you should’ve bet all your retirement!

I'm sure some, any booky will give me money if I just show them the time stamp on that post. I've missed a few opportunities in life so I guess I'll have slog through in this labor camp work for a while longer.

Despite my pessimism and permanent internet rain cloud overhead this is still the best part-time job ever! Back to the salt mine and then some training on the blast furnace.

Well said, I think if you stick it out around here you’ll do just fine.

I know that the people who are starting class now interviewed last year, but can anyone give me a general idea of what flight times people are getting hired/interviewed at Delta are? I know it varies a lot, but just curious. Also, how much PIC time is being needed? Asking for a friend.. (really, I already work here)

On the 88 i have flown with 3 still on probation with 0 PIC. Spent between 3-5 years at the regionals. The quals needed appear to be all over the place.
