I wouldn't necessarily say we are home more. Unfortunately or fortunately, depending on how you look at it, the ability to pickup outside of domicile and the fact we are one fleet type makes picking up open time very easy regardless of whether you live in base so that can be like crack. The fat paychecks on the 20th can be addictive meanwhile your wife leaves you for the lawn guy and takes half your $hit.

In June I credited 137 trips and worked 18 days, but thankfully only spent 8 nights in a hotel because I am able to pickup a lot of one day trips out my home airport which is not a domicile.

In July I credited 104 trips and worked 11 days with 6 nights in a hotel. I also know a Captain who credited 355 trips in July and made $67k doing it, but the guy literally worked the entire month with his 30 off in 7 where it was required.

I do like that we have the flexibility to fly a lot and make more regardless of seniority or whether you live in base or not, but just realize the majority of our guys do fly more than 12 days a month. I think this is why Southwest guys have traditionally had much higher W2's in the past.

United has 68 wide bodies on order: 35 350s, 14 773s, 19 787s with plans to park the remaining 22 744s by the end of 2018.
I show DAL with 68 wide bodies on order: 25 359s, 25 339s, and 18 788s.

I'm sure that those trips make up about 90 percent of the domestic fleet trip packages, right? We have a lot of those in the 717 package...

I'm happy for SWA, they've been negotiating a long time. We could definitely use more efficient domestic trips but I didn't apply there and I don't want this to turn into that. International flying it's not hard to get 23 hour or more 3 day trips and be gone 48 hours. Just saw the email that negotiations are back on next week btw.

Including the 757's from both companies according to wiki...United has 286 wide body (including 757) aircraft while Delta has 283. United has orders for 33 additional wide body aircraft and we currently have 52 on the books. So it would seem to me that we have a fairly decent sized fleet and contract discussions amongst the wide body aircraft are certainly relevant. What am I missing?
The 767 pays narrowbody rates. A few dollars more than the 737.

How many RJ's operate under Delta? If you had SWAPA's scope you would have to park all of those tomorrow.

And thanks to the Delta pilots who walked the picket line with me in Dallas

and there it is. What did the 757 pay at NWA before the merger? What did it pay after?

The usual suspects are making this TA out to be not that big a deal. When you put more money on top of arguably some of the best work rules in the industry, it's a big deal. The company funded B plan is nice as well. Meanwhile, back here, we're trying to figure out how far backwards we need to take our work rules to get industry standard pay...sigh.
You did the math backwards, 95 TFP is the equivalent to 81 hours of pay. It's typically a 1.149 conversion but you subtract not add. With that said our trips are very productive for the most part. 3 days in the 19 tfp range are very anemic. I typically try to work 3 days worth 22-26 tfp. That would equate to a 19 - 22 hour 3 day in the regular world. I'm a first year guy and my September line is the most unproductive line I have had since I have started. It's a blank line with 16 days off only worth 95 tfp. It has 5 total reserve days built into the line which killed my productivity. September is a very slow month though so it's to be expected. My normal blank lines typically have 17 days off and worth between 100-110 tfp if I do not pick up on days off. I am pretty junior but some of the stuff the senior guys can do blows my mind.

If we are asking questions on comparing pay....why does NW 319/320 pay more than DAL 88/90?
