Reserve LCA commuter pays about the same as non LCA live in base captain. LCA is either a box check to get out to a major or an ego trip, not a retirement plan.

Oh I agree completely. Which is why I'm not applying. I'm perfectly cool with my qol until it's time to go. That's too much nonsense for me

Does anyone know how many letters(emails) went out in the last round for the flow?

Approximately 75 letters were sent on 12/8/21. Flow letters are down to currently qualified captains who are ISL385 or lower (14.5 years at EDV).

How is class seniority decided? Also, when do medical and flight benefits start? I’ve been reading a lot but haven’t seen this info though I’m sure it’s out there several times.

thanks

Flight benefits start right away. Medical benefits start at the beginning of the month after at least 30 days. AKA if you’re hired Feb 15, your benefits start April 1.

Seniority is determined by the last four digits of your social security number. 9999 is the best seniority, 0000 is the worst. Luck of the draw.

Appreciate it, thanks!

If you have received and accepted the flow letter and now on medical leave, does that postpone your Delta seniority number or your 90 day hold or both

They might put you in another class. One of the required documents is a current first class medical. Assuming your medical is good you might be ok.

The medical is fine. Not really concerned about the class date. I am concerned about the seniority number.
