Flying is great...start and end times not so much. Cvg basically picks up leftovers from all other bases. You most likely will only see cvg at the start and end of a trip. If you live there it still sucks because of the 5am report times and 10-1130pm end times. But everything is no more than 4 days if you're a line holder.

Cvg is junior. Hard to say how long rsv is as we are still waiting for new hires to hit the line. Could be a few months is a good guess. Having a line is no more than 4 on and a min of 2 off. Reserve is different...you can do up to 5 day stretches. Contract requires min 2 days off in a row and 12 a month if you're rsv. 11 days off during a month as a line holder. Right now a lot of people especially line holders are sitting around 12/13 off in a month due to how understaffed we are.

Free advise. Move to an apartment over in the covington / germantown area, preferably something next to the goodfellas pizza. Never leave. Unless something silly happens.

It's not so much finding a decent living place in the area, it's finding something palatable ie doesn't stink (literally), or sans normal considerations, or isn't way out of first or second or fifth year pay while the man gets his. But KY is a fairly decent outdoorsmen state for the time I would have to enjoy such. IDK are southern Ohio bucks still large? Is getting private land access a PITA? Any good smallies on the fly?

Credit Hours
I’m a typical month(pre-pandemic) how many hours are usually credited? I know this ranges but trying to get a gauge at how much I’ll be flying. Also, before getting a line will open time pickups(if I’m below monthly guarantee) be paid in addition to the monthly guarantee?

200 lines are pretty much 75 hours of credit around 50-65 hours of block and 11 days off, which is pretty bad. If your on reserve you may fly between 10-30 hours average I’d say on the 200. ATL900 FOs are blocking over 60 and over 75 hours of credit on reserve. If your on reserve and you pick up it will always be on top of the 75 unless you drop reserve days.
