Monday morning quarterbacking - I would call it half decent management analysis/ predictions rather then "after the fact" statements.

Your predictions were ones EVERYBODY actually involved with the airline already knew would happen, yet you feel you know what you are talking about, again based on your "analysis" of online articles. Notice how no one ever commented on your timeline of events or your reminiscing of what you "claimed" as your own predictions that ended up happening? Also the one thing in this industry that everyone should know is just because it makes sense doesn't mean it will happen.

Deli chic? My standards are a little higher. I only hit on the pharmacist chics at the department stores.

So it's Anderson's fault when he was at NWA and 9E underbid the Q400 contract with United Express at Colgan? And the Delta CRJ-900 contract for the ATL flying for 16 planes?

Are you seriously asking what's wrong with being a conspiracy theorist? Nothing I guess. Hey watch out for those chemtrails next time you're at cruise altitude.

Conspiracy theory? Lol

Bankruptcy as a business tool is corporate 101.

"Hey Phil, we need to cut down on our 50 seat flying and reorganize the way DCI does business. I have a plan that will cut airplanes, labor contracts, make Pinnacle the premier Regional Airline owned and controlled totally by Delta, all the while applying pressure to every other Regional and Delta pilots to boot! We can even cut the top half of your seniority list and help with any so called pilot shortage."

"Does that mean I'm out of a job, Dick?"

"Sort of, but you'll like it. Here's the plan, first I'll sell you XJ......."

Doesn't sound too far fetched to me. Just business.

Thankfully pilots don't run companies. You voted for a paycut and you could have said no. That would have put a dent in their bluff.

So on a combined list of over 2700 pilots, shutting down the base with 30 pilots (1.11% of the list) was a plan to fix staffing issues? You've really fallen of the rocker dude.

I do agree though that it was total mismanagement by the Corps. starting with PT.

Yes that, along with the first big vacancy alignment after the ISL where pretty much everyone could bid and get whatever their seniority could hold. Colgan Saab to CRJ at Pinnacle? No problem. Mesaba Saab to CRJ Captain? Come on over. 38% of the entire pilot group received a different base/seat/aircraft. What a total disaster! 9E hadn't even completed its operational merger, and there were still a fenced and an unfenced side. The concessionary contract has a stipulation that next time if there is a merger, ain't no one bidding across a certificate until the fenced merger operation is all complete. That's what it SHOULD have been in the first place between Mesaba/Pinnacle/Colgan. But no, Mesaba Saab pilots had to find new seats ASAP. Oh well, ALPA and the JCBA reaped what it sowed.
