If ATL ends up at ~200 pilots by the end of the year, wouldn't that be our biggest 200 base?

Congrats to all the guys whose commutes just got better or erased.

This makes a future 900 ATL much easier to get up and running.

If you are a captain in Detroit, please bid for it. If you are an FO, stay.

I foresee us growing DTW and MSP back up a little when NYC closes. We have roughly 500 200 pilots right now and that (my pure speculation) will be around 600 by that time, meaning theoretically once NYC closes there will be 400 200 pilots spread between DTW and MSP.

We lose MSP and DTW to SkyWest

But for real, this makes my Florida commute so much better with one 1-hour leg, potentially on company metal.

What makes you think that NYC is closing? Is that something that is in the works?

200s in NY was never the plan, so it's inevitable.

NYC 200 is closing. Company has stated several times Delta wants dual-class birds in the NYC market = not the 200.
