This is the best Position our pilot group has ever been in and you're still thinking the worst for us. REALLY?? What smoke and mirrors? We have actually added Aircraft, Bases and hundreds of Pilots.
I don't get it.... It's this attitude that has accepted Crap for the past 20 years. It's time to ask first for what we are worth. If you want career progression go to the one Regional that has a flow and is a 7 year wait. Let the bonus expire. If you want a raise ask.
If you want career progression, update your apps and improve your resume. Or go to Go-Jets and flow to Spirit.
Funny.....can I have a raise please? You have been here less than a year.......you didn't go through some of the BS....sorry Eagle put a bad taste in your mouth....if you stayed there you would be flowing to AA about the same time you'll get to use your DGI......you sound frantic......try to relax

That's this entire board, man. Every airline is the worst airline ever. The Delta people complain about Delta, Southwest sucks, UPS is terrible, etc...

People who are happy are off living their lives. The miserable people are the ones who commune on the internet to complain together.

Am i the only person who's happy to be working here? There a plenty of airlines out there that have legit reasons to be worried about the future or mad at the company and management y'all can apply to. I mean Mesa just voted in pay cuts....

Oh I meant on the forum. Everyone on the line I met has for the most part been pretty content.

Thanks Teddy and the rest who've had good things to say. I'm starting new hire class next week and this thread had me a little worried that I chose poorly.

I've done 121 for three years and I'm returning after almost 11 years off. Things look a lot better now than when I left in 2006.

The company, pay, culture is all top notch. We still have an opportunity with the DGI that a lot of other regional guys don't get, (an interview), but its still not as great as having a flow in the back pocket. Other than that, I think you will enjoy your time here.

I have enjoyed my time here at 9E. I have a great schedule even for a commuter and get a direct deposit every 2 weeks. So that's better than some. If you have applied here, don't worry you haven't made a mistake. It is one of the best regionals in the business right now. No I'm not a recruiter and I don't wear the hat. I am just trying to encourage anyone who has doubts in their decision to come here. It really is a good airline.

Absolutely agree that there are much worse places to be. I love it here. But with every recommendation for and against there should be a little asterisk that says (*your results may vary). Our biggest issue is that we can't agree on what we want in these negotiations.

The one thing that I take away is that 90% of the people I fly with are either content or happy in their jobs. And that includes guys with double no's who have decided to just be ok with it and move on.

While back someone told me that if you try to find a reason to hate this job you'll find it around every corner, and that stuff will eat you alive if you let it.
