Any "Latest & Greatest" about Endeavor?
This guy knows what he is talking about. Any future flow will come through DALPA. Most Delta pilots don't even know we are a owned by Delta. To DALPA we are nothing more than the JV squad, a bunch of petulant 13 year-olds. Yes the market favors us but Delta is big enough and bad enough to comair us just for a board room laugh.
Someone enlighten me:
Does DAL's CBA specifically give DALPA any control over who they hire?
I'm at a AA WO, and my understanding is AA can hire anyone they want, and APA's contract doesn't give them any veto power.
So bring this back to my first question, is it really DALPA that's standing in the way of a flow, or is it company culture?

I was thinking it was more like your girlfriend and after 4 years she won't give it up anymore until you put a ring on her finger.
You tell her you love her, and she says it's not real love until you marry her.
Then she leaves you for an Envoy Captain because he has flow.

That's actually pretty good!

I want flow as much as the next guy, maybe it'll be in this TA, maybe it won't.
If we get the bonus rolled into payrates, I'd say take the money and run.
Ideally it'll be the $23,000 divided into our current 75 hour guarantee, $25 an hour across the board increase.
Here's the thing, in December of 2018, the bonus's are over as it currently stands. Moving them into pay rates makes them permanent (-ish (they could still take them back in a bankruptcy))
We'll all have to wait until Wednesday to hear, but from my point of view, locking in the bonus is worth strong consideration at least.

I aim to please!
But as for the current topic at hand, all the conjecture, while some of it has merit, is unknown to 99% of us right now. <<< #Relax >>> Guessing what is coming is natural, but even if someone nails all the details while guessing, it will not result in a bonus for them. Let's wait and see what next week brings. It will be what it will be. Most of us will get a chance to voice our opinions via a vote. Hopefully it will be good for everyone.
