Might I remind you that the proposals on the table will result in pay cuts for some of our pilots. You guys are seriously concerned about travel companions? You already can have them, you just have to go through a little more paperwork than SkyWest. I'd also like to remind you we have no career progression. Check your priorities.

A few years ago Delta created the new S3B1 travel priority. They gave it to Endeavor so that we are above all other Delta Connection and still below parents and retirees. SkyWest at the time had active Delta at the same priority as us S3C and the priority was date of hire. Delta wanted better priority on SkyWest, so they negotiated for S3B1 on their flights. Which is still behind active SkyWest and their parents. But it does put them above all other Delta connection carriers. I suspect that's when SkyWest negotiated for registered companion. They got it because Delta wanted something.

If you are not willing to commit to your partner enough to move in with them, then why should DL do so?
It is very simple at 9E to get your SO on the travel benefits program. Provided you actually have a SO.
I happen to know that HeyOneTaco doesn't play FlightSimX. The fact that you know about it and brought it up tells me you are very familiar with it. Is YOUR significant other on your travel benefits?

"Hey dude, are you HeyOneTaco on the internet?"
"Aww sweet man! I'm HighFlight, we run those forums!"
"Yeah dude!"
"Sweet man"
"Alright, bye"
I think having more travel benefits for family members or significant others is something of importance to me. It would be nice if my brother, who is in college and broke, could at least travel at some s3b46 priority when trying to get home for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
And who are you to say what I deem important or not. You don't want to take a paycut for crediting less than 83 hours? Tough for you. I credit more than that, so I don't care about your needs, just as you don't care about mine. Stop trying to white knight yourself into thinking you aren't looking out for only your own needs just like everyone else. Thanks for trying to tell me what I should prioritize, but I'll be okay without your assistance.

Wow, how extremely noble of you to come to the aid of your internet boyfriend, to confirm for us that Taco does not play FlightSim. This forum is comical. It's the same cluster of idiots and their ramblings. All the more fitting that you guys personally know each other. How does that even come up in a conversation?

Why are unmarried people not entitled to have someone on their flight benefits? It only seems fair that if someone who is married gets to have their spouse on there, anyone should get to choose one friend/significant other/whatever to have on there. Just the fact that someone is married gets them better benefits than me and the union negotiated for that?
Adopt your friends, I guess. That’ll get them travel

Common Buzz I told you weeks ago that woody never liked you. I’m a Reserve CA that credits 75 hours. So tell me why I should take a pay cut or pick anything up with my 11 days off....? The fact that our negotiations have come down to anyone taking a pay cut in 2017 is laughable.

If you go back and read what I said one more time, you will see I never said that. In fact, SOs ARE allowed travel benefits, not just married people. The rules are what they are, don't shoot the messenger.
Employees' kids and parents are allowed to fly too. Hopefully this doesn't upset people who think it's unfair if they don't have kids as well.

Meanwhile the whole conversation is moot as the gate agent is making the 5th PA in the last 10 minutes begging for paying passengers to get bought off their seat since the flight is oversold by 6......As Xjet lists 4 must ride crew members with 15 minutes to departure to make it even more sporty.
