Again, what prevents this same problem when flying an ILS? Do you set the altitude to approach minimums or missed approach altitude after you capture the glideslope?

When you hear “minimums” on an ILS and don’t see anything, there’s no ambiguity. You go missed. Not the case on a non-precision. The airplane is not always going to be where it needs to be as with an ILS. There are many variables that preclude that. Apples to oranges in my opinion as to how they are flown. On a canpa approach, the plane will descend to minimums at a geographic location in some cases at the runway or miles prior to it.

Yes it is the case with CANPA/DDA, that's the whole point of doing it that way instead of the traditional dive and drive.

Okay cool. Did the LMS tell us that for all non FMS 4.2 equipped birds, the pilots will have to change all the approach altitudes to hard altitudes? If not, there’ll be no snowflake. I just don’t remember if it says to

vacation shifts are automatic if you do it in the proper time frame (early bid period)

CANPA approaches are much better then dive and drive. We have been doing the for years at XJT. You fly it much more like an ILS and go around at the DDA makes it so that you won’t go below minimums. Yes you do have to pay attention to the approach, I mean god forbid you have to pay attention for 5 minutes.

Has any seat been offered 200% in January yet?
I know it's a month of below average flying but there are no green days for JFK CR9 CA.
Just wondering if they're now less inclined to go 200% under the new rates.

Currently the only 200% day between now and end of Jan for DTW 900 CA is Dec 25... 3 CDO's up for grabs that night in open time. January open time consists of 2 trips starting Jan 1, a day trip paying just 2 hours (non min day qualified) and a 4 day that credits about 17 hours. Vast majority of lines were showing credit under 70 hours so I'm betting most won't be easily breaking 75 for the month unless we get some big snow storm events.
