I think he's implying that the deal was to bring CP pilots and planes to 9E so you wouldn't need to hire as much. If the pilots aren't coming however, more need to be hired.

Planes are still coming to EDV, just not pilots from anywhere but OTS.

Yes they are. Merging is not off the table though. Delta is a master at negotiating. In fact I’d buy someone dinner if they can find online how much Delta paid for each of their 777 purchased from Asia. But I’d lose my anonymity and would t be able to Talk Turkey anymore. TSH may still do this but another round of negotiations are in order.

Yeah... I can't get a restful nap unless I hear the sound of water and poo coursing through the crew room. Looking back, I just wonder how AWAC thought that was acceptable.
