Any "Latest & Greatest" about Endeavor?
[QUOTE=Two Kings;2604750]Are we still going to be ahead of Delta flight attendants on our FA jump seat or are they going to bump on that like they do for a cabin seat?
Yes, our metal, our seat.

Also, when leaving a company, I think it is better to convert to a private fund vs. rolling over into the new company's fund, because your private fund is usable prior to retirement, whereas a company fund cannot be used without major hassles and penalties. You take away the employer/fund manager control when you convert to a private investment vehicle.

There was nothing in OT/TB on such short notice besides out of base high speeds and similar. Except one sweet trip that the system denied me due to exceeding max duty on one of the days (different domicile time). So I chose the 150% AVL. They actually said I have 24 hours to choose, so there's no need to try to look stuff up before answering. (I couldn't find any of this in the contract, so this is on CS's word.)

I learned something today. I've always moved mine outside of former employers for additional fund choices, I had never considered the pre-retirement distribution angle. Evidently that's a function of plan design (meaning the employer can choose to let you make "in-service" withdrawls (after 59.5 but before you actually retire) ) I have no idea which plan design is more common but there's another good reason not to roll directly from old employer to new employer.

Regardless, I may look into the self directed IRA at some point ( I was aware they exist) I've heard there's a good deal of red tape related to using them to buy/manage real estate and I don't trade individual stocks (too much risk for me).
Definitely good discussion for all of us to consider.

I have used my IRA to buy real estate and made much more than the stocks I sold to fund my Self Directed IRA. There are a number of sources online to educate yourself.

I'll assume that's not the Matt Sorensen that was sentenced to jail related to a billing fraud at State Farm.
