March? Don’t know. Probably need to get more guys into the 900 the remainder of the spring if I had to Guess (and wild guess). I certainly wouldn’t make any changes to your plans over what aircraft and base you can expect as eventually ATL 900 fo will trend more junior.

Long run (someone coming in late summertime) once all of the transitions of employees already on property from the 200 to 900 is complete one can reasonably expect 70% of new hires to go to the 900 while 30% go to the 200 as that is our current mix of aircraft. The 18 month seatlock basically matches upgrade times for someone with no prior 121 experience so most guys and gals will spend their entire time as an fo on the 200 or 900 and never transition over.

Yeah we’re just leasing a 175 sim for the hell of it. No intentions of a West coast ERJ base by 2019. No internal rumors or anything. Nothing

I’ve heard from several reliable sources that the 175 program was created when Delta asked us to do it 1.5 years ago. It was shelved because plans changed. I asked about the new sim the other day and was told it might not be a 900 sim. We’ll find out when they put it in.

I do remember a few months back that upper management told new hires or potential new hires that 175s will be happening. Just not anytime within the immediate future. I don’t feel like digging for the post.

Yup, our old upper management, who have now all left.
Not sure if those plans went with them.

I'd expect to see a batch of CRJ-700's arriving from a formerly scorned airline set up to do an end around of another airline's pilots long before anyone should bother studying Portuguese.

I certainly hope you are not talking about the 700s flying under AA by XJT. That is the last remnant of ASA. Taking the rug out from under that DFW operation is nothing to be celebrated.

Nope read the clues again. Think about a famous US aviator from the 20's-40's
