I've flown with a LOT of their crews and o like them. Almost entirely younger nice guys. Wish them the best. The company however....

If ever we moved into RDU, I would hope to see a massive turn over in above and below wing support there. That place...

I think it’s a lot better than 5 years ago. And to me it appears that they’re gradually improving

It's a bigger station than CVG, yet is still contract below wing... Problems won't be solved until they make it a Delta station, IMO.

You're probably right on that one. It's been getting slightly better but still...ugh...

How many crews do we have over-nighting in RDU? By my count it looks like 6-7, that hardly seems like enough for a base. CVG has like 15 crews.

That’s what I was thinking. There are a bunch of through flights, but not a lot of overnights. Cincinnati seems much more likely as a base to me. And I for one would flee New York for Cincinnati. But because I think it makes sense, doesn’t mean it’ll happen. I don’t see the entire picture or their plans

Perhaps another DCI carrier has a crew base there that would be replaced with a 9E base?

Don't they do United flying out of there, I think we have more fights out of RDU, than they do. Also, we would pick up their CVG flying as well, which makes CVG double the size of RDU.

I think we will pick up the GoJet flying in 2019, and Compass flying in 2020 with west coast basing, probably SEA/LAX.

Move everything forward a year.

From a hiring perspective, RDU is better than CVG.
