900 has trended very senior since the removal of upgrade seat locks. The only way to sneak onto it without having 1,000 company is to upgrade 200 and then bid right over to the 900 once a captain, as minimums are irrelevant then (assuming they keep removing locks).

200 NYC CA is available straight from initial. Memo indicated company would seek pilots who meet upgrade requirements so I assume this will continue.

There was a Sep 2000 hire on the displacement list (not a voluntary) So this cut deeper than that (I guess the Bloch award is the gift that truly keeps on giving.) This could have guys hired in the 90's on reserve in MSP.
And all those guys that are now going to try commuting MSP to DTW (or ATL for that matter)... May whatever god you believe in have mercy on your soul.

Did anyone catch in the MEC Fastread from yesterday (Jan. 23) re the "increase in NFA[s]"?

Specifically calls out sick calls, which I hope does not have the unintended (or maybe intended, but I hope not) consequence of making folks who should not be at work show up anyway.

Also -- given that most reserve pilots are new hires, are there seriously a large number of pilots not picking up the phone when called? There must be for them to draw attention to it.

Regarding the deadhead deviations -- I'll take a gander that the majority of these happen during IROPs when CS is MIA so people just take things into their own hands.

Definitely stinks but at least we got that second flight positive space now.

Last time I looked, the most junior 900 CA was a Feb 17 hire. Are people leaving ATL out from under you?

When you say back to JFK... were you displaced, or just going to stay off the bottom in ATL?
