Somehow I think this is going to be done in seniority order at those carriers... which means it will be a while before today’s FOs have their apps scored.

Each interview slot they take is one less available Off the Street (OTS) interview (see non DGI). So if you had hopes to move to Delta OTS outside of the DGI , this significantly reduces the available chances.

Also, for the DGI, you've got to be a Captain here for 18 months, no such requirement for this deal at the other DCI carriers.

Now hopefully, this is indicative of better things to come for us, because it LOOKS like they've significantly reduced the incentive to come here based on the DGI. For the long term, them reducing the benefit of the DGI might cause them to need to sweeten the deal here.

Or maybe it won't.

Only time will tell.

They will be reviewed in senority order, also the apps that already are in the Delta pool. So still not better than DGI, which, is still not better than a flow. Delta invests so much time and resources in coming up with all these complex algorithms, starting from the ramp to delta program, the college to delta, dgi, ssp, now this guaranteed app review, to choose the best pilots, who then go land at the wrong airports. Or line up on the runway with one engine running.

Doesn’t every app at Delta get reviewed and scored anyway?

I believe the computer won’t put it into the review box until certain boxes are checked or an internal rec is sent in. After that a person reviews it and scores it to see if an interview is warranted.

Generally agreed with everything you said, so just quoting this piece... currently in the Delta pool isn't a high bar. Submit an application and you're in the application pool (not to be confused with the CJO/hiring/class pool).

Delta is scoped out. To get a new plane someone has to park another.
I assume Compass and Gojets will be standing when the music stops?
Look for TSH siphoning off CZ to RP. OO and 9E 700 are getting parked. GoJet 700s go to RP or get parked because they’re timed out and undesirable. RP will get CRJs, not sure which variant but I think I heard them mention 50-seaters. We won’t get any CZ planes now; only new SCs. I also believe AA is going to pull the plug on CZ soon too. That is it. Again, delta changes their plan frequently. This is the latest rendition of their plan for a 3-tier, dual-type-carrier DCI regime.

It looks like Republic is the big winner in your plan. They get Compass, Gojets and ours and/or Skywest 50 seaters?
We replace our 3 700’s with 175’s?

Maybe that's why Republic is ramping up hiring to 100+ a month soon.

If you want to call getting 200's a big win.

I see it as 9E will become an all two class airline. Replacing our 200 with new 175sc is a win in my book.

This doesn’t make any sense. Delta is scoped out on 70/76 seat planes and OO has 27 700s and they are getting 20 900SC to replace that. They are replacing all of the old EV 700s with their new 175SC. So if RP get G7 700s that means we would only be able to get 3 175SC and that makes 0 sense.
