It's not so much that, but in 4-5 years we will have hundreds of DGI, and Propel pilots that are leaving with no ability to replace those DGI captains. We will be forced to shrink in proportion to the number of pilots who are in the Propel program. This wouldn't be an issue if the Propel pilots had an upgrade requirement, or the FAR upgrade hourly requirement didn't exist.

If propel pilots can get a flow from being a cfi to a regional to a major when certain criteria are met... why cant we have the same. Dont bash me for mentioning "flow"

Why so pessimistic? If anything I think this is a possible step towards better career progression. Also in his email he affirms the growth, this time also mentioning a larger network (new bases?). Nothing has changed for the worse since Ryan Gumm left, possible exception being fire breaks which is currently being grieved.

Any leader will tell you that its hard to have stability when the leaders come and go as they have this last year. Every leader comes in and makes changes and its hard for middle management to understand what the direction of the company is when leaders leave as quickly as they are here.

You do know that BL has been orchestrating many of the moves 9E has made for years prior to his appointment as our #1, right? With his control over DC, his contributions are bigger than any of us can comprehend. But yeah, go ahead and complain about how bad it is here and how our operations are crumbling and our planes are broken and you can't commute home with those 'enhanced travel benefits'...
You obviously don't know me because those that know me know that I don't complain about any of the benefits that ALPA has been able to achieve for us. I also know that this is a pretty good company to work for. Simply stating that the uncertainty behind very senior leadership changes are never good for a company.
RG did some incredible things while he was here. However there haven't really been many improvements since BL was put into place. In fact we could argue that things have gotten worse with firebreaks.
